A small wobble can have big consequences, especially when it comes to gemstones. Many customers only notice too late that the stone in their ring or pendant is loose. Even a slight knock or washing hands can then be enough for the stone to fall out and get lost.
Our tip from Gossauer Bijouterie:
Have your jewellery professionally checked once a year, especially if you wear it frequently. We inspect the settings, clean the piece of jewellery, and tighten loose prongs. A quick check can prevent a valuable stone from being lost and save high repair costs.
Extra tip: If you hear a slight "clicking" sound when you rub the stone, or the stone moves, bring the piece in immediately. Such signs are always a warning signal.
